Could driverless cars become the ultimate flexible workspace?

Worldwide, about 1.25 million people die from car accidents per year. Around 95% of these accidents are caused by human error. So, in theory, by automating driving, we could save about a million lives a year.
We could also see other benefits, including reduced congestion, journey times, CO2 emissions and noise, and increased mobility and independence for elderly people, and increased productivity during commuting times.
Driverless cars in the UK have no legal barriers - a unique position against the rest of the world.
